How lucky are we to know Josiah Austin, local pianist and composer!  You may have seen or heard Josiah playing at PDX if you’ve been traveling. He’s a regular there sharing some beautiful tunes.  For our 2025 concert, we had a lot of fun working with him to create a new piece written specifically for our Ambassadors.  It wasn’t an easy instrument combination (flute, oboe, violin, and saxophone) but Josiah created a lovely piece just for them.  Throughout the year, the Ambassadors had the chance to work with Josiah and see this piece come to life. Sylvan Spirits was premiered at our March 2025 concert.
