Arts Ambassador Isabel Rush had a great year sharing her love of the violin with young students around Clark County.  She wanted to inspire children with the love of music, introduce them to the world of strings, and hopefully encourage them to consider getting involved in music.  Isabel visited three schools, bringing her program to 70 children.   Isabel was mentored by pianist Debbie Lee.

From Isabel: “This project allowed me to really improve my presentation skills and practice making a presentation that is more digestible for elementary schoolers. I quite enjoyed interacting with the kids and answering questions they had about music. The biggest challenge I had to overcome with this project was communicating to organize presentation times. Thanks to this project opportunity, I’ve refined my planning, time management skills, and my speaking in larger group settings.”
