Celebrate the Arts: Community Concert

Our Celebrate the Arts: Community Concert on March 2nd, 2024 was a fantastic night of music and celebration.  Thank you so much to everyone who attended the concert. We appreciate your support of  Enspire Arts and all of our performing Ambassadors.  They all worked so hard to create such a wonderful evening celebrating the power of the arts in our community.

We featured our five current Ambassadors: Erin Moriarity, Lacey Cunningham, Jenavieve Boruff, Emily Liu & Emily Nemnich, seven returning Ambassadors and a superb team of professional artists.  There was a wonderful variety of classical, opera, jazz, instrumental, vocal, theater, dance, poetry and more.

We love seeing student partnerships in this program.  Shalaka (2020 Ambassador) choreographed a Bollywood number for Zayah (2018 Ambassador) & Jenavieve (2023 Ambassador) Bianca composed her own songs to perform with our house band and Shula (2021 Ambassador) joined her on the keys.  Shula (2021 Ambassador & Emily (2023 Ambassador) paired up for a piano & oboe number. The capstone performance was a composition debut for Shulammite Leu (2021 Ambassador) composting an instrumental piece for five of our Ambassadors to perform together.  What a great project and so much fun to have students from gr 7-12 involved and from four different school districts.

What we love about the Enspire Arts concert is the opportunity for our Ambassadors to work with local professionals.  Thanks so much to our band led by Clay Giberson (keys) and the talented Jessie Marquez (jazz vocals).  Our students are so excited for the opportunity to perform with them. For singer/songwriter Bianca, it’s a dream come true to perform her songs with a live band.  We appreciate baritone Zachary Lenox sharing his beautiful voice and joining the Enspire Arts team as a mentor. What a great opportunity for young people to work with someone actively involved in the PNW opera scene.  We’re grateful to all who helped make this evening so special!
